Gunalung (Caterpillar) Room

In All About Me Greenacre's the 0-2 gunalung room, children will learn a range of fundamental skills and behaviours that are essential for their development during this critical stage of life. They will begin to develop their motor skills through play and exploration, learning to grasp objects, crawl, walk, and engage in other physical activities. They will also learn to communicate through gestures, facial expressions, and eventually through their first words. The 0-2 room also focuses on building strong emotional bonds between the child and their educators, which is essential for their social and emotional development. Overall, children in the 0-2 room will learn the building blocks for future learning and development, including basic problem-solving, socialisation, and communication skills. 

In the 3-6 room, children will learn a wide range of important skills that will help them to develop and prepare for their future academic and social lives. They will learn the basics of language and communication, as well as more advanced literacy and numeracy skills. Additionally, they will develop important social skills such as sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution. The children will engage in various creative activities such as painting, drawing, music, and drama, which will foster their imagination and creativity. Furthermore, they will learn about healthy habits and lifestyles, as well as develop their fine and gross motor skills through physical activities and outdoor play.  In addition, the Pre-Kinder program prepares children for kindergarten, promoting growth and defining school readiness through play-based learning.
